It’s been a dream of mine for a while to visit Jamaica. I mean, why not? The beautiful weather, clear blue water, and the food… OH, MY GOODNESS, THE FOOD. I got a great deal on this dream vacation through JetBlue Getaways. I spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay. The resort was absolutely fabulous and located only 15 minutes away from the airport! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the resort, eating delicious Jamaican dishes (although there were times where I would’ve preferred a little more kick and spice) and getting my fill of rum punch. The staff was always friendly and helpful… and there were always fun activities happening to keep you occupied. The one thing that bummed me out about the resort was that the water park on the property (Sugar Mill Falls) was closed for renovation during my visit. This was understandable because it was September, which was a massive downtime: summer vacation is over, children are back in school and overall, the resort was not crowded at all which makes for the perfect time to do some improvement work.
